Scheerer manufactures sleeve bearings in a variety of materials. Designed to withstand axial and radial loads, the Flanged Sleeve Bearing is the most common configuration. We also manufacture cylindrical and thrust washer designs as well as combination cylindrical/thrust washer designs.

Withdrawal sleeves are used to mount and locate bearings with a tapered bore on cylindrical shafts.
They are slotted and have an O.D. taper of either 1:12 or 1:30 ratio.
The sleeves are located on the shaft by a locknut and are secured by a lock washer.
Withdrawal Sleeves make it easier to remove the bearings with the aid from the lock nut.
Scheerer manufactures bushings including Taper, Keyless and QD formats. Bushings operate under extreme loads, high-torque, high temperatures and corrosive environments. They offer outstanding resistance to fatigue at high temperatures. They are ideal for oscillating motion at slow speeds with high loads.
